Dmitry V. Dmitrienko
Governor of Murmansk Region, Russian Federation Born 17 August 1963 in the city of Namangan in the Andizhan region of Uzbekistan.
In 1985 graduated from the Leninsky Komsomol Higher Naval School of Submarine Navigation, specialising in military ships.
In 1999 graduated from the North-West Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation with a degree in State and Municipal Administration.
PhD in Economics. Awarded with the medal “70 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR”, the badge “Honorary Worker of the Navy”, and a number of other awards.
1980 - 1992 - served in the Armed Forces of the USSR in the Pacific and Northern fleets
1992 - 1999 - worked in industrial and financial structures
1999 - 2002 - Advisor to the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory on energy and transport
2002 - 2004 - Advisor to the First Deputy Minister of Transport – Chief of the Navy State Service
2004 - 2006 - Assistant Director of the Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport
2006 - February 2008 - Deputy Director of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport for Economics and Finance
February - July 2008 - Deputy Director of the Russian State Committee for Fisheries for Infrastructure and Fleet Development
July 2008 - March 2009 - Deputy Director of the Federal Agency for Fisheries for Infrastructure and Fleet Development
